Responsibilities:

Conducted interviews and empathy maps to understand the needs of busy working adults looking to organize and discover new recipes. This helped inform the design of a recipe organizer that would allow users to share and access recipes from around the world. My responsibilities included paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, and ensuring accessibility in the design. I also iterated on the design to ensure it met the needs of the users. The goal was to create a recipe organizer that would help users efficiently organize and discover new recipes

Summary

As part of my UX Design certification from Google, I was asked to create a recipe organizer. After conducting some research on already existing recipe organizers and a variety of users I discovered that creating a recipe organizer with the option to share, favorite, and organize while being able to think about groceries was needed.

Process

Problem:

Busy restaurant owners or cooking enthusiasts that are looking for new recipes or organize the ones they’ve discovered.

Solution:

To facilitate the search for new recipes and the organization of old ones for users.
